From the moment Jane VI arrived in our shop, our restoration team understood the responsibility that came with her serial number—P-51D Mustang 44-72253. Originally purchased by Fagen Fighters Restoration in 2021 and later entrusted to a passionate new owner, this aircraft represents far more than aluminum and horsepower. She represents history, sacrifice, and the men and women who gave everything in defense of freedom.
Our team is now completing the work to return Jane VI to fully airworthy condition, guided by the exact vision of her owner. Every decision we make—down to finishes, fasteners, and systems—is driven by a commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, period correctness, and uncompromising safety.
